PHARMACY

A pharmacy within a hospital provides the necessary medicines, intraveneous solutions, prescriptions and investigational drugs as prescribed to the patient by his physician.  It is critical  that the architect provides secured access for this department.

The pharmacy also has certain support requirements, such as dispensing, manufactoring or preparing, storage and administrative.

Required lighting would be above standard to meet the needs of the pharmacist as well as installation of a fume hood in a clean room to provide a sterile environment for this work. Modular casework provides flexibility and detail accomodations for the space.
